REDEFINING OUR BARNYARD STORY

A FAMILY ENDEAVOR

The documentary film team began with an exceptionally rare family vision. The core crew is Naomi Sophia Call and her two sons, LA based filmmakers Auston Call and Loghan Call. They all live an organic lifestyle steeped in a lifetime of compassionate and conscious choices.

The Film

A UNIQUE NON-GRAPHIC WINDOW INTO THE LIVES OF RESCUED ANIMALS

A beautiful and inspiring glimpse into the unbridled compassion on fifteen farm animal sanctuaries throughout the US. The rescued farm animals, simply by being who they are, are changing lives, lifestyles, and beliefs on both sides of the fence. The humans, many of whom dramatically altered the course of their lives because of a connection with a farm animal, are dedicated beyond words.

The demonstration of forgiveness, wisdom, and love will live on long after the film. You may find yourself planning a visit to a farm animal sanctuary.

“Our task must be to free ourselves by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty."

- Albert Einstein -

Reception

AWARDS AND ENDORSEMENTS

“Called to Rescue” poignantly and poetically gives voice not only to the core of a great cause,
but to the very heart of our humanity.

~ Jeff Lydon, Interim Executive Director - Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary

"I highly recommend the documentary film, Called to Rescue. Because it really shows another way we can live with animals, instead of seeing them as things to be exploited, we can see them as beings that we can share life with. And this opens a doorway into understanding. It’s a very heart opening experience to watch the film and I think it helps raise consciousness about how we can live more peaceful and fulfilling lives ourselves. I highly recommend this film."

~  Dr. Will Tuttle, International author of World Peace Diet, composer and speaker
